The state of Nevada is located in the west region of the United States. If you are visiting the south of the state, such as the city of Las Vegas, you should know that there is a very good chance that during the day, you will have really high temperatures. It is not rare to see temperatures of 110 degrees Fahrenheit (43.3 Celsius) in the middle of the spring. If you are visiting cities at a higher altitude, such as Elko, Nevada, you could see temperatures that you would expect in places such as Alaska during the winter.
